WHLY-AM plays Adult Standards featuring the best songs of the 40's, 50's, 60's and 70's, with programming licensed from Westwood One, serving the 50+ adult demographic.  This format features America’s best music of the 40s, 50s, and 60s plus today’s softer favorites targets Adults 35 +.  Such legendary artists as Barbra Streisand, Tony Bennett, Johnny Mathis, The Carpenters, Neil Diamond, and others featuring top-notch major-market air personalities, including Jeff Rollins, Chick Watkins, Ed Brand, Dan Armstrong, and Mark Haden. Also featured are news reports at the top of every hour from CNN Radio News.

During the Fall 2004 Arbitron period, the most recent period for which ratings are available, WHLY-AM ranked 2nd in the South Bend market with an average quarter hour share of 13.0 for Women 65 and 3rd Adults 65+ with an average quarter hour share of 10.5, M-S, 6am-Midnight.
